Electric Yellow
Labidochromis caeruleus
Electric Yellow cichlids occupy rocky areas of Lake Malawi, especially where crevices provide shelter and feeding sites. They hunt insect larvae, small crustaceans, and other invertebrates extracted from holes in the rocks. Adults are known for their vivid yellow bodies and dark-edged fins, with females carrying developing eggs in the mouth.
