Siberian Sturgeon
Acipenser baerii

Adult Siberian sturgeon inhabit large rivers, lakes, and estuaries, spending much of their time cruising close to the bottom. They use four sensory barbels to detect worms, mollusks, crustaceans, and insect larvae before drawing prey into their protrusible mouth. This ancient-looking fish has five rows of hard bony scutes instead of ordinary scales and can live for many decades.
