Pied Tamarin
Saguinus bicolor

Pied tamarins inhabit rainforest edges, secondary woodland, and forest fragments in the Manaus region of Brazil. They forage actively in the trees for fruit, nectar, insects, and small animals, using rapid climbs and leaps to travel through dense vegetation. Their distinctive bare face and sharply contrasting white-and-black coat make this critically endangered primate easy to identify.
