Golden Bronze Beetle
Anthaxia nitidula

Adults occur in warm, sunny woodland edges and clearings, especially near broadleaf trees. They visit flowers for pollen and may also feed on plant surfaces. Their metallic bronze-green coloration is produced by light reflecting from the structure of the wing cases rather than by ordinary pigment.
