Nile Lechwe
Kobus megaceros

Nile lechwe inhabit flooded grasslands, marshes, and the edges of shallow lakes in the Nile basin. They graze on fresh grasses, sedges, and aquatic vegetation, often feeding in wet ground that slows many predators. Their long, splayed hooves help them travel through mud, while males use their sweeping horns in breeding-season contests.
