Peixe-Peru De Duas Manchas
Nemapterois biocellatus

Adults inhabit sheltered coral reefs, rocky crevices, and rubble slopes in tropical seas. They are mostly nocturnal ambush predators that eat small fish, shrimp, and other crustaceans. During the day, they often remain motionless beneath ledges or within reef structure. Their long dorsal spines carry venom and are spread in a conspicuous defensive display when threatened.
