Pale Morning Dun
Ephemerella excrucians

The adult Pale Morning Dun is found near clear streams and rivers where it emerged as a nymph. It flies during seasonal hatches, seeking mates and using its long tails for balance in the air. Adults have vestigial mouthparts and do not feed. Its adult life is brief, focused almost entirely on reproduction before eggs are laid in the water.
