Weedy Scorpionfish
Rhinopias frondosa

Adults inhabit coral reefs, rocky slopes, and rubble-strewn seabeds across the tropical Indo-Pacific. They remain motionless among algae and sponges before lunging at small fishes and crustaceans. Their elaborate leaflike camouflage is highly variable, and their dorsal spines can deliver painful venom when handled.
