Red-faced Mousebird
Urocolius indicus

Red-faced Mousebirds inhabit dry woodland, savanna scrub, thornveld, and cultivated gardens across parts of southern and eastern Africa. They move through bushes by clambering and making quick, direct flights, feeding mainly on fruit, leaves, buds, and flowers. A flexible outer toe can be turned forward or backward, helping this bird grip branches while hanging to reach food.
