Neon Day Gecko
Phelsuma klemmeri
Adult neon day geckos inhabit bamboo stands and vegetation in northern Madagascar, where warm daylight fuels their activity. They stalk insects, spiders, nectar, and fruit across stems and leaves with rapid, precise movements. Specialized adhesive toe pads let them scale smooth surfaces and even cling upside down.
