Common Guitarfish
Rhinobatos rhinobatos

Common guitarfish live over sandy and muddy seabeds in coastal waters and occasionally enter deeper offshore areas. They search along the bottom for crustaceans, molluscs, and small fishes, crushing prey with strong jaws. Their flattened, guitar-shaped body lets them blend into the seafloor while remaining ready to dart away.
