Longfin Baitfish
Platax teira

Adult longfin batfish live around coral reefs, rocky outcrops, and coastal waters, sometimes moving into deeper areas. They swim with broad, disc-shaped bodies and feed on algae, jellyfish, plankton, and small invertebrates. Their juvenile leaf-like disguise fades as they grow into a much larger, silvery fish.
