Yellowhead Jawfish
Opistognathus aurifrons

Adult yellowhead jawfish live in sandy burrows around Caribbean coral reefs. They hover close to the entrance, snapping up zooplankton and small crustaceans carried past by the current. Males are notable mouthbrooders, holding developing eggs safely inside the mouth until they hatch.
