Cat'S-Eye Shell
Turbo petholatus

Adults inhabit coral reefs, rocky shores, and sandy areas near reefs in warm Indo-Pacific waters. They graze algae from rocks and reef surfaces, usually moving slowly during calmer periods. Their thick, beautifully patterned turban shell is closed by a hard operculum when danger threatens.
