Laced Moray
Gymnothorax favagineus

The laced moray inhabits coral reefs, lagoons, and rocky crevices across the Indo-Pacific. Usually active at night, it ambushes fishes, crustaceans, and cephalopods from a concealed position. Its pale body is covered in dark, chain-like spots, giving the species its distinctive laced appearance.
