Lettuce aphid
Nasonovia ribisnigri
Adult lettuce aphids live on leafy crops and wild hosts, drawing sugar-rich sap from plant tissues. Some adults develop wings and disperse to new plants when colonies become crowded or host quality declines. Their feeding can curl leaves and spread plant viruses between crops.
