Orange Oakleaf
Kallima inachus

Adult orange oakleaf butterflies inhabit forest clearings, edges, and shaded understory in South and Southeast Asia. They fly between sunlit patches, feeding on tree sap, fallen fruit, and other sugary fluids. When perched with closed wings, the veined underside closely resembles a dry leaf, concealing the butterfly from predators.
