Long-winged Conehead Nymph
Conocephalus longipennis (nymph)

This wingless juvenile lives among damp grasses, sedges, and low vegetation around marshy fields and pond edges. It climbs stems readily and feeds on tender plant material as well as small insects. Its green body helps it disappear among foliage, while repeated molts gradually develop the adult's long wings.
