Pale Green Assassin Bug Nymph
Zelus luridus (nymph)
This wingless nymph lives among leafy vegetation in fields, woodland edges, and gardens. It waits motionlessly on stems before ambushing small insects with its piercing beak. Like other assassin bug nymphs, it coats its forelegs with a sticky substance that helps secure struggling prey.
