Giant Pacific Octopus
Enteroctopus dofleini

Adults inhabit cold coastal waters, using dens in rocky reefs and deep seafloor habitat as secure retreats. They are active predators that seize crustaceans, molluscs, and fish with powerful arms and a sharp beak. The giant Pacific octopus is the world's largest octopus species and can change color and texture remarkably quickly.
