Two-spot Ladybird Larva
Adalia bipunctata (larva)

The larva is an active, alligator-shaped hunter found on leaves, stems, and garden plants where aphids gather. It patrols vegetation on foot and uses its jaws to seize soft-bodied prey such as aphids, scale insects, and other small invertebrates. Its dark, bristly body helps protect it as it feeds rapidly before pupation. A single larva can eat many aphids during development, making it an important natural pest controller.
