West Indian Bulimulus
Bulimulus guadalupensis

West Indian Bulimulus is a small terrestrial land snail found in leaf litter, on vegetation, and around limestone or disturbed habitats in the Caribbean and parts of the southeastern United States. It is most active in damp conditions, feeding with its radula on algae, fungi, decaying plant material, and biofilm. During dry weather it retreats into its elongated shell to conserve moisture. Its shell form and coloration can vary substantially between populations.
