Rosy Woodlouse
Androniscus dentiger

Rosy woodlice live in damp soil, leaf litter, compost, and beneath stones or decaying wood, often in gardens and woodland edges. They are chiefly active at night, feeding on decaying plant matter, fungi, and other organic debris. Their flattened, segmented exoskeleton is usually pinkish brown and helps protect them in tight crevices. Like other terrestrial isopods, they need humid surroundings because their gills must stay moist.
