Mouflon Lamb
Ovis gmelini (lamb)
Mouflon lambs shelter on rocky hillsides, open woodland, and dry grasslands alongside their mothers. They graze tender grasses, herbs, and leaves after nursing in their earliest weeks. Alert and nimble, a lamb quickly follows adults across steep, uneven ground. Its pale coat and small size help it stay less conspicuous among rocks and scrub.
