Fiji Banded Iguana Hatchling
Brachylophus fasciatus (hatchling)
This hatchling lives in the low vegetation of humid Fijian forest and coastal woodland, staying close to leafy cover. It feeds chiefly on small leaves, tender shoots, flowers, and occasional insects. Its bright green body helps it disappear among foliage, while a quick dash or tail flick can distract a threat.
