Asian House Shrew
Suncus murinus

Asian house shrews live around houses, farms, gardens, and scrubby areas across much of southern and southeastern Asia. They are active, mostly nocturnal hunters that eat insects, worms, small vertebrates, and scraps of animal matter. Despite its small size, this shrew is notably aggressive and has scent glands that produce a strong musky odor.
