House Sparrow
Passer domesticus

Adult house sparrows are small, adaptable birds found around farms, towns, parks, yards, and city streets across much of the world. They feed mainly on seeds and grains but also take insects, scraps, and buds, using quick hops and short flights to forage. In disputes, they peck, chase, flutter, and jostle around nest sites or food. A notable fact is that this species thrives alongside humans and often nests in buildings, vents, signs, and other artificial cavities.
