Saker Falcon Eyas
Falco cherrug (eyas)
A downy nestling found in cliff ledges, old stick nests, or artificial nesting platforms across open steppe and semi-desert country. It depends on adult falcons for pieces of meat from rodents, birds, and other small prey. When disturbed, it may crouch, hiss, and jab with its beak rather than flee. Its rapid growth is notable, with wing and tail feathers developing quickly before the first flight.
