Yellow-vented Bulbul Nestling
Pycnonotus goiavier (nestling)
This growing chick remains in the nest among parks, orchards, plantations, and village greenery. Pin feathers and early plumage begin to cover the body, but it still cannot fly and crouches low when disturbed. It eats frequent meals brought by the adults, including insects, berries, and soft plant material. A notable feature of this stage is its rapid growth, with visible feather development over only a few days.
