Iberian Lynx Cub
Lynx pardinus (cub)

Iberian lynx cubs are born in sheltered dens among scrub, hollow trees, or dense Mediterranean vegetation. They depend on their mother at first, then begin practicing pounces, wrestling, and short stalking movements as they grow. Their early diet is milk, followed by small pieces of rabbit and other prey brought by the mother. A notable part of cub life is sibling competition, which can be intense during the first months.
