Moorish Wall Gecko Hatchling
Tarentola mauritanica (hatchling)

Newly hatched Moorish wall geckos shelter in cracks, stone walls, and rough bark where their small size helps them disappear. They hunt tiny insects and other minute arthropods with short, sudden lunges. Hatchlings are mostly active at dusk or night and rely heavily on staying still rather than fighting. Their adhesive toe pads already allow them to climb vertical surfaces soon after hatching.
