Juvenile Tokay Gecko
Gekko gecko (juvenile)

Juvenile tokay geckos roam trees, rocks, and buildings at night, moving higher and farther as they grow. They take larger insects, spiders, and small invertebrates with sudden lunges from cover. This stage is bolder than a hatchling but still avoids larger predators by flattening against surfaces or slipping into narrow gaps. The strong climbing grip lets juveniles hunt on ceilings, trunks, and vertical walls.
