German Cockroach Nymph
Blattella germanica (nymph)

German cockroach nymphs live in warm, humid cracks and crevices around kitchens, bathrooms, drains, and heated buildings. They are wingless, dark, and highly secretive, usually feeding at night on crumbs, grease, starches, and other organic scraps. When disturbed, a nymph relies on rapid running and squeezing into narrow gaps rather than fighting. A notable fact is that young nymphs pass through several molts before becoming adults, shedding their exoskeleton as they grow.
