Kuhl's Pipistrelle
Pipistrellus kuhlii

Kuhl's pipistrelle is a small, adaptable bat found around towns, farmland, wetlands, and rocky areas across southern Europe, North Africa, and parts of Asia. It flies at dusk and night, hunting tiny moths, flies, mosquitoes, and other insects with rapid turns and echolocation. By day it roosts in crevices, buildings, tree hollows, or rock cracks, often tolerating human-altered habitats well. A notable feature is the pale trailing edge of its wing membrane, which helps distinguish it from many similar pipistrelle bats.
