Kuhl's Pipistrelle Juvenile
Pipistrellus kuhlii (juvenile)

A juvenile Kuhl's pipistrelle begins making short nocturnal flights around roosts in towns, farmland, wetlands, and rocky country. As it gains independence, it learns to catch small moths, flies, mosquitoes, and other insects using echolocation. Young bats gradually improve their rapid aerial turns and may still return to communal roosts with adults.
