Malayan Tapir
Acrocodia indica

Adult Malayan tapirs inhabit rainforests and swampy lowlands of Southeast Asia, often traveling at night along well-used forest paths. They browse leaves, twigs, aquatic plants, and fruit with a flexible prehensile snout. Despite their bulky build, they swim well and may enter water to cool off or escape danger. Their bold black-and-white body pattern can help break up their shape in moonlit forest shadows.
