Domestic Piglet
Sus domesticus (piglet)

A domestic piglet stays close to its mother or littermates in pens, barns, pastures, and farmyards. It nurses at first, then begins sampling soft feed and rooting curiously in bedding or soil with its sensitive snout. Piglets communicate with frequent squeals and grunts, especially when separated or startled. One notable trait is their rapid early growth, gaining weight quickly under good care.
