Spotted Nerite Juvenile
Vittina natalensis (juvenile)

A newly settled young snail living on hard surfaces in freshwater or slightly brackish streams, estuaries, and aquaria. It crawls slowly with a muscular foot while grazing algae and biofilm with its radula. The shell is small but already sturdy enough to protect it from many small predators. Juveniles focus on feeding and growth, gradually developing the spotted shell pattern seen in adults.
