Clown Anemonefish
Amphiprion ocellaris
Adults live in warm Indo-Pacific coral reefs and remain closely associated with a host sea anemone. They defend small territories and feed on plankton, tiny invertebrates, algae, and food scraps around the anemone. Clown anemonefish are sequential hermaphrodites: the dominant breeding fish can change sex to become female.
