Clown Anemonefish Larva
Amphiprion ocellaris (larva)

Newly hatched larvae drift in open coastal waters above coral reefs and lagoons. They swim with short bursts while feeding mainly on tiny zooplankton such as copepods. After roughly 8 to 12 days in the plankton, they use reef cues to locate a suitable anemone habitat.
