Common Blue Caterpillar
Polyommatus icarus (larva)

A small green caterpillar found low among clovers, trefoils, and other leguminous plants in sunny grasslands, verges, and dunes. It feeds on the leaves and flower parts of its host plants, usually remaining concealed in the vegetation. Its flattened, slug-like body is well camouflaged, and ants may attend it for the sugary secretions it produces.
