Giant Toad Tadpole
Rhinella horribilis (tadpole)

Giant toad tadpoles develop in ponds, ditches, and other still or slow-moving tropical water. They swim in dense groups and graze on algae, detritus, and tiny organic particles. Even at this stage, their dark bodies and eggs contain chemical defenses that discourage many predators.
