Superb Fairywren Fledgling
Malurus cyaneus (fledgling)

Superb Fairywren fledglings shelter in dense low shrubs and grass after leaving the nest, often following adults through scrubland, woodland edges, and gardens. Parents continue to feed them insects and spiders while the young birds learn to forage close to the ground. Their brown juvenile plumage provides modest concealment, and they quickly develop the short, agile flights needed to escape danger.
