Galah Chick
Eolophus roseicapilla (chick)

Galah chicks develop in tree-hollow nests across open woodland, farmland, and suburban areas of Australia. They are fed regurgitated food by both parents, receiving a diet that later shifts toward seeds, grains, roots, and other plant material. Before fledging, a chick has sparse pale down and depends on the nest cavity for warmth and protection. Young galahs typically remain with their parents for a period after leaving the nest while learning to forage.
