Croton caterpillar
Achaea janata
The adult Croton caterpillar is a nocturnal moth found around woodland edges, gardens, and cultivated host plants across tropical Asia. It flies after dark, visiting flowers and other food sources while seeking mates and suitable plants for egg laying. When resting by day, its muted wing pattern can resemble a dry leaf and makes it difficult to spot.
