Oriental Magpie Fledgling
Pica serica (fledgling)

A fledgling has left the nest and moves through branches, hedgerows, and open ground with short flights and hops. It still begs from adults but begins pecking at insects, seeds, fruit, carrion scraps, and other easy food. Its behavior is curious and cautious, with frequent wing-fluttering as flight control improves. A notable fact is that the long tail helps stabilize turning and landing as the young bird practices maneuvering.
