House Crow Fledgling
Corvus splendens (fledgling)

Fledgling House Crows have left the nest and move through branches, rooftops, and open ground while practicing short, uneven flights. They still follow and beg from adults, but they also begin investigating edible scraps, insects, fruit, and small prey on their own. Their behaviour is curious and bold, with frequent hopping, wing-fluttering, and trial-and-error handling of objects. A notable fact is that young crows learn quickly from repeated encounters with people, animals, and new foods.
