German Wasp Pupa
Vespula germanica (pupa)

German wasp pupae remain inside capped brood cells in the protected nest, where workers regulate and guard the colony. They do not feed or move, instead transforming from larva into a fully formed winged adult. Their developing body gradually darkens into the species' distinctive yellow-and-black pattern before emergence.
