Common Buzzard Fledgling
Buteo buteo (fledgling)

Common buzzard fledglings leave the nest after several weeks but often remain close to woodland perches while their flight muscles strengthen. They make short, uncertain flights and loud food-begging calls, still relying on adults while learning to land and balance. Their diet is still mostly delivered prey such as voles, rabbits, small birds, and carrion. A notable fact is that newly fledged buzzards may spend long periods perched quietly before attempting another flight.
